Alternative High Threat Plates
Tidy Plates: ThreatPlates
ThreatPlates theme brought to you by Syronius of Black Dragonflight <Fallout>

Alternative Default Style "HIGH Threat" plates download here.

Adjusting the scales for each plate is available inside each of the corresponding lua files as the local variable named "scale".
If you'd like to change the scaling of any of these parts simply change the value of "local scale = " in each lua you're wanting to change.
Just remember that the green styled threat plate is considered the "high" threat plate.

I will be adding more options to allow these changes without lua editing in the future.

Defaults:
normal = 100% ~ local scale = 1
low = 125% ~ local scale = 1.25
medium = 90% ~ local scale = 0.9
high = 70% ~ local scale = 0.7

New Commands implimented!
Saved Variables now included! ~ New! v1.2
Ace3 Options now included! ~ New! v1.2
Now implemented a toggle switch to enable or disable the threat system! ~ New! v1.3
Special Text now working!! ~ New! v1.5

/tptptoggle - Toggle Role from one to the other.
/tptpdps - Toggles DPS threat plates (Usable in macros)
/tptptank - Toggles Tank threat plates (Usable in macros)

I have been searching for the addon that Rasia from Cuties Only uses in his/her videos for a while now. Some people tell me aloft, some people tell me tidy plates (w/ threat plates). I use aloft and I really don't think it is aloft. It does look more like tidyplates. Can anyone clear this up for me? If it is tidyplates, I need to try and find a way to configure it the way he has it set up....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_T_zm2qG8s recent video link

EDIT: Yes, I have downloaded Rasia's UI from their website. There is no real nameplate mod included in his /addons folder. Only a mod called "Nameplates Modifier" which I can't seem to figure out. I also checked all .lua files and saved variables. No mention whatsoever of aloft or tidyplates or any other nameplate mod I can think of..... /sigh

Attempting to replace the bar textures. Using a .tga that works fine in other mods - I use the same texture for StUF, Recount's bars, DXE's bars, etc.

When I replaced "path.."TP_BarTexture"" with the path to the new texture, the texture swap works - but all the bars are anchored below the outline texture, instead of inside.

Only difference I can find is that your texture is 128x32, and the one I replaced it with is 256x32, but that shouldn't be affecting the y offsets.

Any idea what else could be causing this?

It's now the default plates and the "original" plates are simply renamed inside the textures folder. I'll have different optional skins available inside the package.

Inside TidyPlates_ThreatPlates:

\\Artwork\\RemoveTP_HealthBarEliteOverlayHighThreat.tga
\\Artwork\\RemoveTP_HealthBarOverlayHighThreat.tga

These were the older textures.
If you're wanting to use them you just have to rename the originals and remove the "Remove" text.
@ Epixor
In each of the different Lua files for high normal low and medium there is a section called "config.options". In here there will be a line that states "showSpecialText = true" . Just change that to false for all of your luas.

I'll be updating this soon with much more detailed options and the ability to turn this on and off without editing lua.

Is it possible to add an "Invert" toggle option. Basically making plates bigger for higher threat and smaller for low threat. Maybe even just bigger for high/top threat and normal size for anything else (instead of tiny, so their still easily readable).

This function would be great to have for faction champs being able to see if things are gunning for you at a glance. It would also be nice tanking certain fights where I know I have aggro on certain things and want to more easily build threat on only those targets.

Since Tidy Plates is basically just re-does your default wow nameplates you may want to ensure you even have cast bars showing for your targets nameplates.

Go to Interface > Game Tab > Combat > Cast Bars > On Nameplates.

Hope this helps.
